    To format the cells, use the steps below.

    1. Select cells C2 through C9.
    2. From the Format menu, choose Cells....
    3. In the Format Cells dialog, select the Number tab.
    4. From the Category: list, select Number.
    5. For Decimal places:, enter 2. Then click OK.
    6. Select cell C10.
    7. From the Format menu, choose Cells....
    8. In the Format Cells dialog, select the Number tab.
    9. From the Category: list, select Percentage.
    10. For Decimal places:, enter 1. Then click OK.

    In the formula for body mass index, substitute the man's body fat percentage for BF, the man's age for age, and 1 for gender because he is male.

    The man has a body mass index of about 23.5.
